Nature is disappearing faster than ever in human history. With legally-binding targets set for 2030, this parliament must deliver rapid action to put nature into recovery. This private, cross-party roundtable provided an introduction to UK nature policy, setting out the current state of play and the changes we need to see in the next five years. 

MPs and Peers heard from RSPB CEO Beccy Speight, nature and diversity activist Dr Mya-Rose Craig, Nature Friendly Farming Network's Anthony Curwen, and Charlotte Sudgens, environmental economist at AtkinsRealis. They asked the experts on how nature recovery can be financed, how farming can help, and how planning should promote nature.
