OEP Webinar

This webinar brought together associate members and parliamentarians for an insightful discussion led by Dame Glenys Stacey, Chair of the Office for Environmental Protection (OEP). She presented the OEP's latest progress report, which outlines key priorities for the government’s upcoming review of the Environmental Improvement Plan (EIP) and assesses the delivery of Environment Act targets. The report highlights that the government is not on track to meet its environmental commitments, emphasising the urgent need for action to achieve these targets by 2030.

Attendees also had the opportunity to engage with experts David Walsh (WWF) and Adam Driver (Rewilding Britain), who shared their perspectives on what the government must do not only to halt nature’s decline but to actively restore it.
