Canada House event with the Rt Hon. Lord Goldsmith and Catherine Stewart
Alongside the High Commission of Canada in the UK, the Environment APPG hosted a discussion on the progress made at COP15 and COP27.
On January 24th, the High Commissioner of Canada alongside the Environment APPG hosted an event at Canada House. The reception featured a panel discussion moderated by Fiona Harvey, Environment Editor at The Guardian, and was open to parliamentarians and Environment APPG members. The panel included the Rt Hon. Lord Goldsmith, UK’s International Environment Minister, and Canada’s Ambassador for Climate Change, Catherine Stewart. Contributions were also made by Environment APPG Vice Chair, Baroness Natalie Bennett, and the Labour Party’s Anna McMorrin MP.
